Transferring fixture profiles (ColorVerse)  and Show / Presets to a new computer. Follow the guidelines below at your own risk, ColorVerse assumes no liability for for any problems that may occur during the transfer of files. If you are not 100% sure of what you are doing...stop.  Hire a professional IT person to complete the task of transferring the DMXIS files.

Install the newest version of DMXIS on your new computer first...

Download Fixture profiles for ColorVerse lights:
Download ColorVerge Ver 2   fixture profiles for DMXIS
Download ColorVerge Ver 3   fixture profiles for DMXIS
Download ColorVerse Ver 4    fixture profiles for DMXIS

Download ColorVerse Ver_5    fixture profiles for DMXIS

Unzip this file to a folder named "ColorVerse" and copy to the Folder (ColorVerse) to the path below.

Windows XP:
C:\Program Files\ENTTEC\DMXIS\DmxLibrary\ColorVerse

Windows VISTA / 7 / 8:
C:\Program Files\ENTTEC\DMXIS\DmxLibrary\ColorVerse

if your Windows 7 or 8 is 64-bit, this is the path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ENTTEC\DMXIS\DmxLibrary\ColorVerse

/Library/Application Support/ENTTEC/DMXIS/DmxLibrary/ColorVerse

Now copy your Show/Presets from the old computer to to the new one.
Following the path below, copy the DMXIS folder from the old computer, into the corresponding path of the new computer.

Here is the folder location where DMXIS stores the Show / Presets:

Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\ENTTEC\DMXIS

Windows Vista / 7 / 8: C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\ENTTEC\DMXIS

OS X: \Library\Application Support\ENTTEC\DMXIS

Launch the DMXIS application.
Last step: While your previous Show / Presets should be transferred now, you will need to reassign all your Fixture Profiles to each starting address.

At some point, DMXIS software may ask you for the hardware code (for the blue box), this was provided when you first registered the software. It is advised to write the hardware code on the blue box with a black sharpie pen for future reference.  Click here to learn more about your hardware code
